The Annual Awards Ceremony for learners on the Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme at Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board’s Kilmallock Road Campus took place last Friday night at the Absolute Hotel. Over 200 adult learners celebrated their educational achievements, which included ECDL, Leaving Certificate and a range of QQI Awards. The event started with a look back at the achievements, creating, collaboration, diversity, exhibiting, exploring, partnerships, friendships and magic moments that made learning and skills on the VTOS programme a special place and such a success last year. Certificates were presented by Councillor Vivienne Crowley, Deputy Mayor, assisted by Triona Lynch, Further Education and Training Manager with Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board. It was a truly wonderful occasion with adult learners from many different cultures united in the proud celebration of their achievements.
