The Maintenance Skills programme is aimed at individuals who wish to up-skill in the area of home maintenance for personal or career goals.

The programme offers a choice of progression-focused modules. Participants will also have the opportunity to gain certificates in Safepass, Manual Handling and First Aid. Flexible timetabling available.

Entry Requirements:

  • Education: These Level 3 programmes are all targeted at adults and young adults who may have few or no previous qualifications
    Aptitude: Ideally learners will have at least NFQ Level 2 qualifications. Where this is not the case pre-entry assessment will be offered to learners enrolling on a full time programme. It is expected that in order to participate successfully. 
  • Previous Experience: Ideally learners will have at least NFQ Level 2 qualifications. Where this is not the case pre-entry assessment will be offered to learners enrolling on a full time programme.
