The English for Work course is aimed at non-native speakers of English to support them to access the world of work or further education. The course offers a wide choice of accredited employability modules and caters for three progressive levels from starter to intermediate.
It prepares the learner for independence while also providing meaningful pathways into further education and employment. As well as significantly improving their English language ability, the learner will have work placement opportunities in a career area most suited to their needs.

Before commencing the English for Work course, learners will undergo a placement test in which they are assessed in listening, speaking and writing.
Following this, they will be placed in one of three levels. Throughout the course, learners will receive career guidance and advice to support their progression towards further education or employment.
